Flu Vaccine Study
This is a 6 Month Study in Omaha, Nebraska
The purpose of this study is to assess the immunogenicity of a seasonal influenza vaccine for adults who are 65 years of age and older.
Influenza (the flu) is a contagious virus that mainly affects the nose, throat, and lungs. Most people recover within about a week, but the flu can cause serious complications, especially in young children, older adults, and people with certain health conditions.
Each year, seasonal flu causes millions of severe illnesses and hundreds of thousands of deaths worldwide. Getting a flu vaccine every year is the best way to help protect yourself and reduce your risk of serious illness.
Because flu viruses change from year to year, the vaccine must be updated and given annually. While the flu vaccine does not prevent every case of influenza, it can significantly reduce your chances of getting sick and lower the risk of severe illness and complications.

Our clinical studies are always voluntary. You are free to withdraw your consent at any time. Once you’ve already started the clinical study, our doctors may need you to come back for a visit, just to check that the drug is out of your system.
