COVID-19 Study

This is a 6-Month Study in Omaha, Nebraska

This clinical trial is designed to evaluate an investigational vaccine that targets a newer Omicron variant. The study will include adults ages 50 to 64 who are generally healthy and have no underlying conditions that increase their risk for severe COVID-19.

The goals of the study are to:

  • See how well the updated vaccine prevents COVID-19 compared with a placebo

  • Assess the vaccine’s safety, side effects, and immune response

  • Understand whether the immune response after vaccination is linked to the chance of developing symptoms

  • Evaluate whether the vaccine helps prevent COVID-19 complications
