Youth Asthma Study
This is a 58-Week Study in Austin, Texas
This study is to find out if a new type of inhaler might help adolescents with asthma flare-ups. Some adults with asthma already use this inhaler.
We are investigating how effective and safe budesonide/albuterol MDI (PT027) is compared with albuterol MDI (PT007) in adolescents with asthma. The study inhaler is a rescue inhaler, so you’ll only need to use it if the adolescent is having a flare-up. The adolescent will be able to keep taking their daily asthma medicines, like their maintenance inhaler. There is no placebo for this study.
